We have more pump models and options then listed on our web site. Please contact us to determine a pump model that will meet your specifications. Flow rates vary with syringe size and/or tubing. Pressure and viscosity also determine proper pump selection. The following are example flow rates for a sample of syringes with the model NE-1000 single syringe pump. Higher flow rates are available.

Yes, New Era Pump Systems, Inc. syringe pumps are in use throughout the world for electrospinning applications. Our research papers webpage list some of the universities that have used our syringe pumps with electrospinning applications. Please also be aware that special precautions are necessary with electrospinning such as using a cage to protect the pump from sparks and using a linear power supply. We offer a special pump power supply for use with electrospinning. Contact us to discuss your application.

The pumps can communicate with any software that is compatible with serial communications. If the computer does not have a RS-232 serial port, we offer a USB to RS-232 converter.

The pumps are compatible with LabView. There is no special driver necessary. We do have example programs available.

We also offer free terminal emulator software.

• Syringe Pumps: Rule of thumb is if you can push or pull the syringe with your hand, then we have a pump that can push or pull the syringe. To reduce viscosity, you can utilize our Syringe Heater Kit. Warming up the fluid may reduce the viscosity.
• Peristaltic Pumps: Rule of thumb is if the liquid freely flows by itself, the peristaltic pump can move your liquid.

When ordering a demo pump, customer must indicate which pump is for demo use. If this is not indicated, and we had charged customer's credit card account, customer will be liable for cancellation fee. Customer must contact New Era Pump Systems, Inc. within 10 days of receiving pump and inform us if the pump will be kept or returned. Up to 20 days, the product can be returned with no restocking fee. After 20 days and up to 40 days, there is a 25% restocking fee for all returns. After 40 days we reserve the right to refuse returns. Only pumps we manufacture are available for demonstration. For International demo pumps, please contact your local distributor.

If you require pumps with higher flow rates or you don't see a feature that you need, just contact us. There are products available that are not listed on the site. Also, we're constantly adding features and are always looking for new ideas.

We accept company purchase orders (with credit approval), most credit cards, PayPal, as well as direct wire transfers.

Shipping times within the United States vary by distance from our warehouse in Farmingdale, NY.

For all of our products, the default domestic shipping method is UPS ground. However, faster shipping methods such as UPS 2nd Day Air and UPS Next Day Air are also available.

Actual shipping charges will be billed to the customer. We do not charge any handling fees. We pride ourselves on our honest pricing.

You can order our products from our international distributors. Many of our pumps are CE certified and we have international power supplies available. Our default international shipping method is through UPS. Any orders over US$2500 must be sent through a UPS account only (our account or yours).

Actual shipping charges, customs fees, installation fees and taxes are not included in New Era website listed prices and will be billed to the customer. We do not charge any handling fees. No special installation is necessary for operation. Installation, if requested, will be charged separately by your distributor.

The return policy only applies to the products we manufacture. Upon receiving the product and up to 20 days, the product can be returned with no restocking fee. After 20 days and up to 40 days, there is a 25% restocking fee for all returns. After 40 days we reserve the right to refuse returns. Please contact us before returning any product.

Custom designed products cannot be returned. Syringes, pump heads, plumbing and any other disposables are non-returnable.

All of New Era Pump Systems, Inc. products are covered by a two year warranty from manufacturer defect. The warranty information only applies to the products we manufacture. Damage due to mishandling or improper use will not be covered. The customer will be responsible for shipping charges to send the product back to New Era Pump Systems, Inc. for all warranty repairs. Drive nut blocks, pumping heads, and other disposables are not covered by warranty.
